Transfers
.IT Domain transfers are possible.
Transfer procedure
You have to provide the so-called PIN number in order to initiate a transfer. The PIN number must be assigned to the auth code parameter. Upon a successful transfer the registration period is reset so transfers are billed like a new registration.
Transfer notes
The steps to transfer a .IT domain to us are as follows:

1.) Send the respective transfer letter(s) to NIC.IT

2.) Wait for the whois to change to mnt-by: CHANGING-MNT

3.) Request the transfer through the us, by entering the PIN in the auth-code field.
