Transfers
Transfers are possible. Upon successfully transfering a .EU domain, it is automatically renewed for one year.

Transfer procedure
a.) You can initiate a .EU domain transfer either through the us WebInterface or through the Socket-Access. Please remember that you must have a signed request from the owner of the domain.

b.) After you have initiated the domain transfer through the us, the official Registry EURid sends the request to the Licensee (Registrant) of the domain asking for confirmation.

c.) A .EU Domain Transfer can stay active up to seven days. Then a new transfer must be started / initiated. If the Licensee (Registrant) does not confirm the transfer within seven days (via email), then he can still do so, by sending a confirmation fax directly to EURid.
